Eglinton Ave Bridge Over Etobicoke Creek

Project Description:
Cable Concrete was used as slope protection to this large bridge abutment on Eglinton Ave with the city of Toronto. Cable Concrete offers a much faster installation than the traditional poured-in-place methods but also superior stability to lose rock riprap. IECS provided design calculations considering 100 year storm event of Etobicoke Creek and CC70s were the required block thickness based on expected flows, CC35 was used above the high water level
