Project Description:

IECS designed and built this custom 4800x1800mm open top precast box culvert along with the header wall and wingwalls including all footings required. By turning this four-sided box culvert into an open top, it allowed B&J Contracting to install the bottom units of the box culverts and use a large excavator to place all of the required river stone inside before putting the lids in place. Traditionally, the contractor would have to send small equipment or workers inside the culvert to complete the placement of the stone.
